During Sunday Stories, January 27, Ohavi Zedek Kitah Alef teacher Michal Eakin, asked me to bring the boker tov / lila tov (good morning / good night) door hanging craft to her class. This fun craft was designed by the PJ Library to complement the book Boker Tov Good Morning by Rabbi Joe Black. Students enjoyed painting and beading their door hangings while listening to Michal read the book then to a CD of Rabbi Joe Black singing the Boker Tov song. Hopefully, they will use it as a reminder when waking up in the morning and going to sleep at night to think of all the wonderful things for which to be thankful.
